Custom Profile Attributes

Custom Attributes can be configured for customer to appear on different pages of your site. These attributes can be used to collect data specific for your particular company or organization, such as employee numbers, office locations, date joined, etc.

When creating a Custom Profile Attribute, you can determine:

  • The field label, including language-specific translations depending on your store language.
  • The field input type; options include text field, text area, drop-down, multiple select, checkbox, and date.
  • Whether or not the field is required.
  • Which stores the field is visible in.

Then, depending on the field input type that you have selected, there are additional advanced attribute properties that you can further configure.
