<p>Joel is a lawyer actively involved in overseeing the company's legal affairs. For the last 29 years, he has practiced exclusively in the field of civil litigation. Joel brings his significant legal experience in areas of commercial law, and the law of intellectual property and confidential information. He has litigated disputes involving infringement of database design, wrongful interception of data streams, and misappropriation of confidential computer logic. He has also acted as counsel both for and against financial institutions in numerous debtor-creditor, insolvency and priority disputes. </p><p> Joel has acted as counsel in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court of Canada. He is a member of the B.C. Mediator Roster (Civil). In 1993 he became a founding partner in the law firm of Kornfeld Mackoff Silber. He received his B.A. (Hon.) Philosophy and completed his LL. B. at the University of British Columbia. He was called to the British Columbia bar in 1976.</p>

<p>Dorothea applied her strong technical and business acumen in the areas of product management, strategic business management, and business development. She played an integral role in the dramatic growth of a Vancouver high-tech start-up to over $17 million in annual revenue. Through strategic alliances and international business development, she grew the revenues of a software company five-fold in less than 9 months. </p><p> This success has taken Dorothea to 36 countries and provides her with a wealth of international experience in business understanding. As President of Canova Consulting International, she focuses on building the worldwide success of fast-growing entrepreneurial enterprises. </p><p> Dorothea is a member of various trade associations, serves on the board of a Vancouver-based CRM company and dedicates her pro bono work to a number of non-profit organizations.</p>

<p>A former applied mathematician who also holds his Ph. D in Geophysics, Joshua has vast experience in developing software for the seismic oil exploration industry and was funded by AGIP and PetroFina. </p><p> Experience at the corporate level includes Joshua's current activity as financial consultant and manager of active businesses for more than 10 years. He is also a manager, investor and active trustee of funds invested including direct investments in real estate and global capital markets for more than 20 years. He was involved in R&D for more than 10 years including in the fields of mathematics, statistics and computer science. </p><p> Joshua is also involved in many community related activities as the promotion (at the provincial and national levels) of math competition among elementary and high school level and competitive chess.</p>
